Hitman Killed Two Guards At The Saudi Royal Palace!

A gunman shot dead 2 Saudi guards and wounded 3 others at the gate of the royal palace within the Red Sea town of Jeddah on Saturday, the interior ministry aforesaid.

Royal guards killed the gunman, known by the ministry as a 28-year-old Saudi national armed with a submachine gun and 3 grenades.

"An outpost of the royal guard came under fire by a person who got out of a Hyundai car,"
 the ministry aforesaid during a statement carried by the official Saudi agency.

"He was immediately dealt with and his cowardly act also resulted in the martyrdom"
 of 2 royal guards, it added.

The United States embassy in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had earlier cautioned its voters over reports of the attack.

"Due to the possibility of ongoing police activity, american citizens are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the area," 

the embassy aforementioned in a very transient statement.

The warning comes once the Saudi police raided hideouts of a "terror" cell coupled to the Muslim State group in the week, killing 2 individuals and arresting 5 others, consistent with the national security agency.
